Chuck Kirlin sits down with Zachary Davis Chair of the Environmental Advisory Council to discuss the “Single-Use Product Regulations” ordinance.
In a step towards a greener future, the Upper Merion Township Board of Supervisors has recently passed a “Single-Use Product Regulations” ordinance. The “Single-Use Product Regulations” ordinance aims to regulate the distribution and usage of single-use carry-out bags, plastic straws, plastic utensils, and expanded polystyrene food service products. By promoting and facilitating the use of reusable alternatives, the township is setting an example for being environmentally conscious within the community.
